This week we set off to 81 Renshaw to record a Klee Music artist, Esme Bridie. All original songs performed by Esme feature on her debut album “Today It Rains”. We teamed up with Klee’s Colin McKay to record a set of live sessions to promote the album. After recording and filming Esme we set up in the vinyl shop of 81 Renshaw Street to interview the owner Neil Tilly. He spoke about what 81 provide including a café, back room for live acts and obviously the vinyl store. We discussed the return in popularity of vinyl in recent years and his current opinions on the music industry of today.
